According to Forbes (2018) ‘Netflix’ has been ranked as the world’s 6th most innovative company. The report needs to be based on the fact You have been fortunate to have been appointed as a Creativity & Innovation Assistant at Netflix, and you have been tasked by your line manager to report on an innovation opportunity that your department has recognized.  The report will be presented to the board of directors at Netflix to help them understand the concept better.

Therefore, the report should contain but is not limited to:

• An introduction that will outline the purpose of the report, introduce a brief to the organisation, and will discuss what innovation and creativity is and how they differentiate from each other.

• The main findings should provide an indication of how the innovation opportunity was identified with evidence from undertaking either an Internal or an External Analysis.

• An evaluation of the identified innovation opportunity because of the previous analysis.

• An analysis of the models of innovation to support your identified opportunity.

• An indication of how you would assess the effectiveness of the proposed innovation at an individual, team, organisational and industry level.

• A discuss surrounding attitudes towards creativity and innovation to include an assessment of common barriers and risks involved with the organisation adopting the innovation opportunity.

• Clear conclusions should be drawn based on what was found, and a set of recommendations will outline exactly what the strategy is for implementing the new identified opportunity.

You must ensure that you develop a Formal Business Report of 3000 words (+/- 10%) that is written in the Third Person and supported with a minimum of 20 Credible Academic Sources.  Your report should be presented following a hierarchical structure and contain a Front Cover, Contents Page, Introduction, Main Findings, Conclusion, Recommendations, Reference Page and Appendices (if appropriate).
